Elizabeth-Dealing with Disappointment
by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth - Rm. 201, Leaders:  Linda Chae and Kathlena Rule

(Starts March 13) From minor interruptions to deep, unfulfilled longings, life is full of disappointments.  And yet, God’s Word offers us much hope!  In this eight-week study, we will explore the subject of disappointment through the eyes of Elizabeth in Luke 1. Workbook $6

Busy Moms: Taste & See By Margaret Feinberg - Rm. 202, Leaders: Niasia Pinnock & Ilona Fender

(Starts March 20) In Taste & See, Margaret Feinberg goes on a remarkable journey to unearth God’s perspective on food.

Since the opening of creation, God, the Master Chef, seeds the world with pomegranates and passion fruit, beans, greens, and tangerines. When the Israelites wander in the desert for forty years, God delivers the sweet bread of heaven. This ground-breaking book provides a culinary exploration of Scripture. Perhaps God’s food focus is meant to do more than satisfy our bellies. It’s meant to heal our souls, as we learn to taste and see the goodness of God together. Book $12

Thirsty? Bible Studies: II Timothy - Rm. 209, Teacher: Diane Wido

Come join our Bible study on I Timothy and dig in the Apostle Paul’s Holy Spirit guided notes to us. We will follow a Bible study guide by Dr. John Stott but buying the book is optional. Inductive Bible study encouraged. Book $10

WEDNESDAY 7:00 PM

Audacious By Beth Moore - Rm. 4, Leader: Wanda Aybar

(Starts March 13) Thirty years in the making, Audacious is a deep dive into the message that has compelled Beth Moore to serve women around the globe.
Glancing over the years of ministry behind her and strengthening her resolve to the call before her, she came to the realization that her vision for women was incomplete. It lacked something they were aching for. Something Jesus was longing for. Beth identifies that missing link by digging through Scripture, unearthing life experiences, and spotlighting a turning point with the capacity to infuse any life with holy passion and purpose. What was missing?
Well, let’s just say, it’s audacious and it’s for all of us. And it’s the path to the life you were born to live. Please join us in this vision and together let’s grab hold of His purpose in our lives. Book $8

Lies Women Believe - Rm. 8, Teacher: Rachel Wolfe

(Starts March 13) Satan is the master deceiver; his lies are endless. And the lies Christian women believe are at the root of most of their struggles. In her bestselling book Lies Women Believe, Nancy Demoss Wolgemuth exposes those areas of deception most commonly believed by Christian women and sheds light on how we can be delivered from bondage and set free to walk in God’s grace, forgiveness, and abundant life. We will use the updated and expanded version of the book as a guide as we discuss the lies Satan uses against us and learn how to use the most effective weapon to counteract them: God’s Truth! Book & study guide $12

SATURDAY 9:30 AM

Saturday Morning Women’s Bible Study - Rm. 35, Teacher: Marsha Durken Hallin

The Saturday Morning Women’s Bible Study meets every Saturday from 9:30-11:30 (except holiday weekends) in room 35 on the lower level.

We are currently reading through sections of the Old Testament. We will be studying those passages/stories that 1) foreshadow the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord, 2) may be pre-incarnate appearances of Jesus, and 3) demonstrate the consistency of God’s love, compassion, patience, and justice from the Old Testament, through the New Testament, and on through our own lives today.

We are growing in our faith, our trust, and our understanding of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We invite you to join us.
