Keys to Recovery Jamie Norton

Recovery is the process of restoring what sin has taken away. Recovery means moving from a self-centered lifestyle to a Christ-centered lifestyle. You are not alone! The truth is, many people who deeply love God and desire to live for him struggle with addictions and compulsive behaviors. Whoever you are, wherever you have been, you are a person of infinite worth because God created you and because He loves you. Through recovery, you can become the unique human being that God designed you to be and live a Christ-honoring lifestyle that you tried to satisfy with your addictions and compulsions. This meeting begins with everyone together in a large group for prayer, readings, worship, devotion and a lesson, testimony or topic discussion. We then break into addiction specific small groups for women's substance, men's substance, eating disorders, codependency, and men's accountability.

Abiding in Prayer Abigail McQueen

Jesus often took time to pray to the Father. In Acts 6:4, the Apostles were “…devoted to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” This was in response to the challenges the rapidly growing Church encountered. God still moves in power as believers abide in prayer that demonstrates dependence on Him. Join us as we examine the lives of others who trusted in scripture and abiding prayer during difficulties and challenges in their lives. Faithless and no praying = no power.  Abiding in faith and prayer = much power. O Lord, in Jesus name, may we be among those on earth today whose abiding prayers will have impact on what You are accomplishing. Amen.
