Ephesians Pastor Shawn Brennan & Don Hull

The Book of Ephesians challenges us to go beyond salvation - to understand that biblical faith is a perspective on all of life. We will discuss such great doctrinal themes as Predestination and Election, God’s Sovereignty and Human Responsibility as well as Spiritual Gifts, God’s Purpose for the Church, Relationships at home and in the work place; and finally, the topic of Spiritual Warfare. When we grasp a clearer understanding of who we are in Christ, then we can begin to enjoy the fullness of God’s grace in every area of our life.

Isaiah Carol Bozic

Isaiah was born into a family with money, associated with royalty, and gave advice regarding foreign affairs.  He attacked social ills of the day seeing them as evidence of spiritual decline and was martyred for his bold witness. Isaiah’s writings state more about the redeeming work of the Messiah than any other Old Testament prophet. It is no surprise that for centuries God’s people have turned to the Book of Isaiah to find assurance and encouragement in the difficult days of life; for in these messages, God says to all of His people, Be Comforted. In addition, the holiness, awesomeness, and majesty of our great God is clearly seen. Come and study one of the most important books in the Old Testament that continues to have great relevance today. This class is open to men and women.

Focused and Fearless Brendon Collins

Christianity is not a spectator sport. You exist for a reason, but even as a child of God things like fear, doubt, and anxiety keep you in the stands. The truth is that fear can enslave and rob you of the truth that you “…are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”Over and over again, Scripture urges us, do not be afraid! Why do we stay enslaved? How we can be strong, courageous, and become fearless?

In  class you will learn:

  • To slow down and recognize the battle in your heart and mind.
  • How to starve fear and feed the truth that you are part of a bigger divine mission.
  • How to build mental and spiritual toughness through prayer and mindfulness.
  • How to become fearless when it matters most.

Regardless of who you are, what you do, or where you are in life, you can be liberated from the bondage of fear. You can walk in those good works that God has prepared for you, be they professional, personal, athletic or otherwise.

Recovery is the process of restoring what sin has taken away. Recovery means moving from a self-centered lifestyle to a Christ-centered lifestyle. You are not alone! The truth is, many people who deeply love God and desire to live for him struggle with addictions and compulsive behaviors. Whoever you are, wherever you have been, you are a person of infinite worth because God created you and because He loves you. Through recovery, you can become the unique human being that God designed you to be and live a Christ-honoring lifestyle that you tried to satisfy with your addictions and compulsions. This meeting begins with everyone together in a large group for prayer, readings, worship, devotion and a lesson, testimony or topic discussion. We then break into addiction specific small groups for women's substance, men's substance, eating disorders, codependency, and men's accountability.

With humor, passion, and clarity, Robert Morris presents the secrets of living a blessed life both financially and spiritually. He shows that when God changes your heart from selfishness to generosity, every part of your life-journey is affected.  “There is no greater adventure on Earth than simply living the life of generosity and abundance that is available to all of God's people--but so few ever dare to live,” says Pastor Robert. “It is a journey of reward. Friday 7:30pm

Galvanized is a men’s recovery ministry that focuses on healing from the effects of addiction. We encourage you to become the man God created you to be; living a Christ-Honoring life fulfilling what you've tried to satisfy through addictions with Christ. Join us as we make the life transforming journey of recovery and healing. We study traditional recovery steps from a Christ-Centered perspective through discussion using a variety of methods. The meeting closes with prayer followed by coffee and fellowship.  Sorry, no child care is available at this time. For more information contact us at (440) 879-8280 or email galvanized@gracecma.org

Women's Bible Study Marsha Durken Hallin

We hope you will consider joining us for a wonderful Bible study with other women of faith.  We have a very diverse group, but the three main things we have in common is 1) a love for God, 2) a desire to deepen our walk with Him, and 3) the love of studying His word with other women who feel the same.  We meet all year long, except on holiday weekends, but there is no pressure to be there every week.  Just come as often as you feel the need or the desire to go deeper with God.

Our current series is “Embraced by God" by Babbie Mason. Babbie guides us through Bible passages that we can immediately apply to our lives as we learn to trust God, and in the process our faith grows.Do you want to know God better? Do you want to understand what God is doing and saying in your life? Do you want to draw closer to God? Bring your questions and your longing for a growing intimacy with our awesome God. Together we will grow as God leads us.Bring your Bible. We’d love to have you!For more information, or if you have questions, please contact Marsha Durken Hallin at mdh265@gmail.com.
